On-call kerbside collection

Waste kerbside collection

Households with a domestic red wheelie bin collection service qualify for 2 collections (per financial year) of larger items.

Both collections can be used at once if eligible (request at time of booking), up to 2 cubic metres each.

You will need to book in advance.

Recycle and donate

Councils kerbside bulky goods collection service has been changed to include a separate collection for salvageable and reusable items. Whenever possible the bulky goods collection team will recover material presented.

When using this service we suggest you first consider whether the items could be donated to a recycling or op shop, and if so, take them there and preserve your collection service for when you need it.

If you are presenting them at kerbside for collection in the bulky goods collection service, place the recoverable items and any whitegoods in a separate pile adjacent to your waste. This will assist us in ensuring these items are recovered.

How to book a kerbside collection

You can book a kerbside collection twice a year (financial year), up to 2 cubic metres each.

Both collections can be used at once if eligible (request at time of booking).

Step 1.Book in advance

At times this service is in high demand (such as the end of the financial year).

Collection is on a rolling schedule. If your preferred date is not available please ask for the next date.

(If you live in a unit block you need to organise collections through your strata manager or body corporate.)
