Recovery Centre - Murwillumbah

Where: Canvas and Kettle Room at the Murwillumbah Civic and Cultural Centre
When: Open Tuesday and Thursday only from 9 am - 4 pm

Where possible, come early in the day, as services are often full at end of the day with longer wait times.

Transport NSW is running a free bus service twice a day between Chinderah (picking up at various caravan parks) and Murwillumbah - view route and timetable.

2022 Flood Inquiry submission

In March 2022, the NSW Government commissioned an independent expert inquiry into the preparation for, causes of, response to and recovery from the 2022 catastrophic flood event across the state of NSW.
