Major housing developments

The Tweed's population is expected to grow to about 120,000 people by 2031.

This will create a demand for around 16,000 houses and 10,000 units, depending on household size.

It will create a demand for approximately 1,350 ha of urban land (Source Tweed Urban and Employment Land Release Strategy 2009).
