Annual and financial reports

Council's planning and reporting is guided by the Office of Local Government's Integrated Planning and Reporting Framework.

For more information about how Council sets out the vision and goals for the future of the Tweed, including the Community Strategic Plan, visit planning and reporting to the community.

Council produces 3 types of report:

  • Annual reports – includes detailed financial reports, a breakdown of principal work activities across all Council divisions and action plans for the coming year.
  • Financial statements – cover Auditors reports, General Purpose and Special Purpose Financial Reports, Special Schedules and Notes to the Financial Statements.
  • State of the Shire (formerly 'End of Term Report') – outlines the progress made towards achievement of the Community Strategic Plan during the elected Council's term of office (usually 4 years).
