Tourism is a growing part of the Tweed's economy, contributing an estimated $278 million.

Council owns and operates a number of award winning tourist facilities:

Tweed Tourism Company

The Tweed Tourism Company is contracted by Council to promote the Tweed as a tourism destination. They also operate our Visitor Information Centres.

The Tweed Tourism Company publish a destination management plan, with the North Coast Destination Network and Destination NSW. They also provide reports on tourism activity for the Tweed, see  tourism industry statistics.
