Council maintains 11 cemeteries across the Tweed. This includes 3 lawn cemeteries, offering burial and ash interment options. The remaining 8 general cemeteries have no or limited interments, though ash interments into existing family plots may be available.
Historic cemeteries are closed sites where no further interments are permitted, including burials or ashes.
Inactive cemeteries are transitional sites with lower visitation. Rights of Interment are limited or unavailable; however, ash interments may still be permitted.
