Register to receive your rates and/or water notice electronically

Tweed Shire Council has introduced eNotices, where you can now have your rates and/or water notices conveniently sent to your nominated email address.

To register, simply complete the registration form below, ensuring to include your property number/ID located on the top right hand corner of your Rates/Water notice for the property or properties that you own.

Before applying, please note that:

  • by submitting this application you are cancelling the delivery of a paper notice and authorising an electronic copy to be sent to the nominated email address
  • only one email address per property can be provided to receive this service
  • if you change your email address, you must advise Council by emailing

Authorisation and declaration

** Multi Unit/Duplex properties: If you nominate to receive your water notice via email subscription for Multi Unit/Duplex properties it will be your responsibility to provide a copy of the notice to any other person(s) associated to the account. Council will only issue the notice to the above nominated email account of the owner or authorised agent and no additional notices will be issued.

Terms and conditions

  1. You agree to receive your notice by email and understand that a paper document will not be sent
  2. You confirm you are the registered owner of the property address shown below
  3. All future notices will be in the form of a PDF attachment to an email sent to the email address nominated by you
  4. If you own more than one property, you must register separately for each property. The registration will only be valid for each separately nominated property
  5. You must advise any other person to whom paper notices are currently being sent that they will no longer receive paper rate notices as a result of your request. Council will not provide this notification
  6. You must regularly check your nominated email address for notices
  7. You agree that notices are deemed served when it reaches your internet service provider, whether or not you have opened or read the email
  8. An “out of office” notification will not be considered an undeliverable notice
  9. You agree that you will retain the notice information yourself electronically or by printing it
  10. If you change your email address or mobile number, it is your responsibility to notify Council
  11. Should Council receive an electronic “delivery failure” notification from your email address, your request for email delivery will be cancelled and a paper document will be posted to the last advised postal address

Once you submit this application, you will receive a return email to your email address provided to confirm that we have received your request.
