In 2016-17, there was 7785 mega litres (ML) of wastewater treated in the Tweed, up 4 per cent on the previous financial year.

Of this 10.8 per cent was re-used, 75 per cent was discharged to water courses and the remaining 14 per cent was discharged to land.
