The Tweed River Festival is a celebration of environment and community.

Held in spring each year, the week-long festival comprises a broad range of programs, activities, workshops and exhibitions all focused on the care, protection and enhancement of the Tweed's waterways.

The festival culminates with a family afternoon in the park, featuring free entertainment, a variety of food and information stalls and a lantern parade just after dark.

So pack a hamper, grab a picnic blanket and come see the river in a different light.

For more information about the Tweed River Festival, please contact the Unit Coordinator - Natural Resource Management, Jane Lofthouse, on (02) 6670 2400.
