The NSW Government has mandated that from 31 December 2020 all development and modification applications must be lodged online via the NSW Planning Portal.

This includes:
  • Development applications
  • Section 4.55 applications
  • Construction Certificates (for Building Works ONLY at this stage) – no provision has been made to allow Subdivision Works Certificates as yet
  • Complying development certificates
  • Private certifier certificates
Council is working to implement this mandate. Further information on using the NSW Portal to submit applications will be made available closer to the 31st December 2020.

As of 1 January 2021 the only method for lodgement of these applications will be via the NSW Planning Portal.

Please note: only the listed submission types can be uploaded and other applications with Council must be submitted via normal avenues (i.e. post, over the counter, email etc.)
