COVID-19 update: virtual Council meetings

On 25 March 2020, the Local Government Act 1993 was amended to allow councils to meet remotely to reduce the coronavirus risk.

The amendment allows our Council meetings to be closed to the public if a livestreamed webcast is made available.

Planning Committee and Council Meeting - 3.00pm, Thursday 20 August 2020

The meeting will be closed to the public and livestreamed at:
primetime.bluejeans.com/a2m/live-event/qsbkdadx

Joining via a mobile device? Follow the link above and then follow prompts to download the BlueJeans app if not already installed. The event ID is qsbkdadx.

If you don't have access to a computer or smartphone, you can listen to audio of the meeting by phoning 02 9133 7105 (when prompted, enter pin 6864090 followed by #).

Council Meetings are scheduled for the first Thursday of the month (after the Planning Committee Meeting) and the third Thursday of the month.

Filming and broadcasting of meetings (webcasting)

From Thursday 6 February 2020, all Council Meetings and Planning Committee Meetings will be filmed and broadcast (in line with NSW legislation) using our new webcasting service, Civic Clerk. This increases the transparency of Council decision making and allows access for members of our community who are unable to attend in person.

Viewers can go straight to an agenda item without having to watch the entire meeting webcast.

Note: If you attend one of these meetings in the public gallery, you may appear in the broadcast recording.
