Council Meeting Information

Council Meetings are held in the Council Chambers, Murwillumbah Civic and Cultural Centre, Tumbulgum Road Murwillumbah [ view map ] commencing at 10:30am.

These meetings are open to the public. Confidential items are considered in closed session, which excludes press and public.

Agendas for meetings are available on Council's site from 8:00pm on the Wednesday preceding the meeting and all Minutes are available as soon as practical on the Wednesday following the meeting.

Reserves Trust Meetings (if required) are held prior to Council meetings as adopted at Minute Number 709 of Council's meeting on 15 November 2011 to commence at 3.15pm until the end of 2011 and then commencing from 10:15am in 2012.

It should be noted that all meeting minutes are unconfirmed until the next scheduled meeting of Council where they are formally adopted.

Community Access is an opportunity for the public to address Council on issues of concern to them. These meetings are held at the Council Chambers, Murwillumbah Civic and Cultural Centre, Tumbulgum Road Murwillumbah [ view map ] on the Thursday prior to Council Meetings between the hours of 4.30pm - 6.30pm and are open to the public.
