Audience Development
This initiative has been strongly supported by the
community, and partnered by key organisations, such as Southern Cross
University, School of Tourism, North Coast TAFE, Connect Program, Tweed and
Coolangatta Tourism Inc, Tweed Economic Development Corporation, State and
Regional Development and the Area Consultative Committee.
The strategic planning process has reinforced the need to initiate a partnership
rather than patronage approach to developing our burgeoning festival industry.
It further identified the need for a Liaison Officer to provide resource for all
Tweed Festivals and Events.
This project therefore aims to further develop and support the considerable
groundwork that has been covered in the past twelve months via a strategic and
collaborative campaign that will promote the collective appeal of the Tweed’s
rich, diverse and colourful calendar of events.
