City of the Arts Space
A beautiful heritage building on the Tweed River that will provide a fertile and accessible creative hub for the two-year City of the Arts program. City of the Arts Space will maintain three core functions during the two-year program:
-City of the Arts Management, administration and production
-Constellation of City of the Arts Public Programs and Exhibitions
-Industrious Arts – Arts Industry Incubator

The City of the Arts Space will be an extremely fertile and accessible creative hub for the two year City of the Arts Program.
The venue, in fact, will shape the direction and scope of this project as its resources, facilities and aesthetic beauty offer limitless possibilities for a diversity of public programs and exhibitions to evolve.
The project will complement and support the new Tweed River Art Gallery’s national focus and scheduled activities by creating an outreach or resource arts space for our community.
The project also aims to expand cultural dimensions within our local arts industry by identifying, developing and maximising the potential links inherent within the shire’s cultural and economic activities.
