Council’s smartphone service is free and available by accessing m.tweed.nsw.gov.au
A wide range of council information is available. You can check road closures and development application information, what’s on in the Tweed, see if a library book is available, Council tenders, bin collection days and much more. Use the internet browser on your smartphone or mobile enabled device to visit m.tweed.nsw.gov.au then add to your homescreen or as a bookmark. Suitable for all smartphones and any internet enabled device.
SMS/text your keyword to 1992 2767 and you will receive an instant return text message on your selection of Tweed beaches, sporting grounds, roads, sewer, swimming pools, libraries and water - anywhere, anytime. The service costs 55 cents (inc. GST) per message for the combined sent and received SMS and will be charged to your mobile phone account. Available across all Australian mobile phone networks (but make sure Premium SMS sending is enabled on your phone plan). All messages will be updated by 1.00pm Monday - Friday. Council advises that information is correct at time of updating however may change without notice.
