Complying Development

Stage 3 - Summary of Main Steps of Complying Development Certificate (CDC) Assessment

1. Once lodged, your CDC application goes through an initial review and is assigned to Building Surveyor.
   
   
2. Council then checks that your CDC application:
   • complies with the Building Code of Australia (BCA)
   • is consistent with the appropriate Complying Development controls
   • complies with BASIX commitments
   • complies with other Complying Development submission requirements
