Koala Beach Map (338kb)

The Koala Beach Estate is a residential development located between Pottsville and Hastings Point on the Tweed Coast in north eastern NSW.

The development includes over 270 ha of bushland reserved for nature conservation and is home to at least 24 threatened species and ecological communities.

From the outset, the estate has been designed to minimise impacts on flora and fauna, and residents actively contribute to the ongoing management of its biodiversity values through a special environmental levy.

This section of our Council website has been prepared by the Koala Beach Wildlife Habitat Management Committee as a guide to the the estate and its natural environment.

Highlights of each committee meeting are summarised in the relevant Wildlife and Habitat Management Committee Newsletters.
