Tweed Shire Social Plan 2005-9
Adopted by Council to maintain equitable access by community members to the social and economic resources in the Shire, and to reduce disadvantage.
The Social Plan includes a Needs Assessment for each of seven target groups in the community.
It proposes strategies for the 2005-9 period in terms of Council’s leadership role in Community Planning, its contribution to Community Facilities, Community Services, and the wellbeing of Community Groups. These are updated annually through community consultation.
