Council Nursery
Tweed Shire Council's Nursery is located at 38-42 Lundberg Drive, off Quarry Road, in the Industrial Estate Murwillumbah. Please see whereis.com for the map location.
The Nursery staff propagate and grow tens of thousands of plants each year which are planted in the many parks, gardens, revegetation projects and streets throughout the Tweed Shire. Locally collected seed is frequently used.
The Nursery is open to the public from 9.00am to 3.00pm Monday to Friday. A selected range of local native plants are for sale. Trees are $4.00 each or Rainforest Kits of five plants for $17.60 are popular.
Staff are able to assist in plant selection. Please also refer to the current Native Plant Sales List (49kb) for available species.

To purchase plants from the nursery you need to:
- Pay for the number of plants you want at one of the Council offices (Murwillumbah or Tweed Heads).
- Present your receipt to the nursery staff.
- Choose the plants to the value of your receipt.
