Survey to help target support for businesses across the Tweed

Tweed Shire Council and the Murwillumbah & District Business Chamber are seeking input from local businesses in a survey to help identify what support would be most beneficial as the region’s focus moves from flood recovery to growing businesses and building resilience.

Council is working to establish the support needs and priorities of all businesses across the Tweed, not just those affected by the floods.

In order to make sure the most relevant assistance is provided; your input is appreciated via the survey available at

“The response from local businesses to our call from information after the floods was really fantastic,” Kym Kranen, Council’s Economic Development Officer, Business Facilitation said.

“This latest call for information is about giving all business, right across our region, the best possible help to grow and build resilience.

“Once the survey is complete, we will then come back to you with some options to help you move forward with your business.”
